पेंच यह था कि प्रोक्रुस्टीस के इस बेड में यात्री को पूरी तरह फिट आना होता था। ऐसा ना होने पर प्रोक्रुस्टीस यात्री को ज़बरदस्ती बेड के साइज़ का बनाया करता था। जो यात्री लंबा होता था उसके पैर काट दिये जाते और जो यात्री छोटा होता उसके शरीर को खींच कर बेड जितना लंबा कर दिया जाता।2/n
