There are way more non-fascists than fascists. People hate them because they're unpleasant and their ideas are unpopular, which is why they try to ram them through in captured states and via violent publicity stunts. The only way we lose this is by giving up.
This is about the Target situation, about which I've seen waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more "it's so over" discourse than I ought to and a lot fewer "fuck these ridiculous assholes, they've got shit" responses than I ought to.

Just got off the phone with Target (1-800-440-0680). Calmly explained that as the parent of a queer kid to whom their pride merch has meant a lot I can't shop at a place willing to sacrifice such kids to placate hate groups. The customer service rep started to cry, and so did I.
Please call Target at 1-800-440-0680 and select the "store experience" options. Explain to them what removing pride merch actually means, to LGBTQ people and the people who love them. Based on my experience, they will listen.

Watching Andor, I'm reminded of one of the things I disliked most about the sequel trilogy: The Rebellion was for naught. The Empire effectively rebuilt itself and started wiping out planets again in under a generation because all the famous heroes were failures.
I'm sure there are tons of reasons I'm not privy to but I do think it's interesting that (I believe) all subsequent Disney Star Wars material has had nothing to do with the sequel trilogy.
