NEW: Sony Pictures is set to acquire and become the sole majority shareholder in production company Bad Wolf, Broadcast are reporting.

Last month it was announced that BBC Studios are partnering with Bad Wolf to produce #DoctorWho from 2023. Broadcast are also reporting that filming on the 2023 era of #DoctorWho will begin next year - that may be presumptive on their part, but it seems likely. Could mean something in early-mid 2023 ahead of the 60th Anniversary in November? All speculation of course.
