Untold story of Rani Karnavati of Garhwal who chopped the nose of so called great Mughal Warriors.
Karnavati was wife of Garhwal King Mahipati shah. King was known for his fierce bravery and firm opposition for invaders.
He got invitation for Shah Jahan's accession to the throne. But he insulted the messanger and didn't pay visit to that ceremony.
This incident increased the threat of invasion for kingdom of Garhwal.

Temple was built by Narasimhadeva IÂ of the Ganga dynasty in 13th century.
The temple is designed as a chariot consisting of 24 wheels.
Each wheel has a diameter of 9 feet, 9 inches, with 8 spokes.
