How to store #leftover foods for further consumption to prevent bloating and #gastric issues?
If you have some extra servings of #rice, #noodles, #dals, #chicken, beans cooked intentionally or unplanned leftovers and wish to use it for a following meal in the day or later, follow these simple steps
1. Determine how many extra helpings you are cooking and plan to store
2. Once food is cooked - rice, dal etc. remove the hot extra portion right away and store in glass containers
3. If to be eaten after 5 - 6 hours, can simply #refrigerate #putrefaction

A prediabetes patient complained of gassiness and bloating post meals. After working with him on his diet -symptoms relieved by 80% and yet some gassiness existed at the end of 2 months.
Now his wife who is a hypothyroid case, wanted to start her diet program 2/3
In her first session yesterday, she too complained of gassiness & extreme bloating post meals. She reached out to her doctor who suggested antacid for a month.
Ofcourse, the antacid relieved her in the last 2 days, but is antacid the solution for this?

What are the adaptations if fasting is prolonged to the point of starvation? A typical well-nourished 70-kg man has fuel reserves totaling about 161k kcal @ManMundra Stored fuels suffice to meet caloric needs in starvation for 1 to 3 months.
In 24 hours of fasting, catabolism of protein stores is triggered + fatty acids to keep up with glucose levels of blood. 75gms of muscle is broken down in the early stages of starvation.
