Hey new followers and COVID-aware folks! ☺️ If you haven’t heard of CO2 monitors already, you may want to look into getting one since #COVIDisAirborne, and these monitors can aid in your risk assessments. Here’s a 🧵 on how to use them in your daily routine.
For reference, something I typed up last year to explain to others the benefits of CO2 monitors in assessing COVID risk in spaces. Outside air is around 450ppm I’ve found in Vancouver. The lower the number, the better. #BCCO2#COVIDCO2

Story time: found out that my cautious mindset in how #COVIDisAirborne may have saved me last week from reinfection. My workplace had a big senior staff meeting for training and were using our program rooms. I like to come early before work to use an empty room to eat/study (1/4)
They finished an activity in one of the rooms so I was able to use it after. I realized though that given how a bunch of people (likely maskless) had just been inside, it would be smart to open a window to naturally clean the air of the room if there were viral aerosols. (2/4)
