Dominic Raab has been on the charm offensive in Washington all week calling around members of congress, trying to dispel fears over the GFA. One congressional source the Foreign sec spoke to tells me he was not reassured: "It’s still shocking to me the current U.K. government.. ...(or frankly the government of any western democracy) would break a treaty it negotiated and signed just under 1 year ago."

Raab is currently in a private meeting with Pelosi

Somehow, I’ve been at the Post a full year today! With only an impeachment, an election and a global pandemic, it's obviously been fairly quiet. But I’ve loved every minute.

I thought I’d thread a few of the things I’ve most enjoyed working on 👇 When I wrote this at the beginning of March, 14 months of lockdown seemed laughably long. Now I’d probably take it.

I enjoyed discussing the story of Eyam on @PostReports too.

AOC: "I am two years younger than Mr Yoho's youngest daughter. I am someone's daughter too. My father, thankfully, is not alive to see how Mr Yoho treated his daughter."

AOC excoriates Rep Ted Yoho after he called her a “f---ing b---h” on the steps of the Capitol. AOC: " I was minding my own business, walking up the steps, and representative Yoho put his finger in my face, he called me disgusting, he called me crazy, he called me out of my mind. And he called me dangerous."

TRUMP on Ghislaine Maxwell: "I just wish her well frankly. I've met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach and I guess they (Maxwell and Epstein) lived in Palm Beach"

Maxwell is accused of grooming and abusing three teenage girls. He also says he's not aware of the situation with Prince Andrew, which seems... surprising

Because my hair, I don't know about you, but it has to be perfect." This is a reprise of this surreal moment from December

My latest w/ @OConnellPostbiz Here's Rep. Kevin Hern (R-Olkla) saying last year "I made a conscious decision after graduating high school that I would never take another dime from the federal government."

This year his fast food franchises took between $1-2 million in government bailout loans.
