3 #BOU18TC We studied the abundance of #housesparrows (point counts) in 32 #urbanparks of 4 towns of eastern #Spain. 10 of them were modified (new park policies) during the 4 studied seasons 2015-2018. We compared means of (r) and abundance between years and kinds of parks.

4 #BOU18TC Our preliminary results showed that the #reurbanization of #parks increased the decline rate of #HouseSparrow populations at modified parks. Before #modifications both growth rates were similar. #ornithology #urbanecology #urbanbirds

5 #BOU18TC Mean abundances of HouseSparrows/PC were similar between parks before #reurbanization (2015). After reurbanization, modified #parks had less #HouseSparrows than non-modified parks (2018). #ornithology #urbanecology #urbanbirds
