Following the conversation between the @IsraeliPM & Minister of Defense and @KremlinRussia_E, Vladimir Putin, senior IDF officers led by the Head of the Operations Directorate, Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, will go to #Moscow tomorrow.

During the day-long visit, the delegation will brief their Russian counterparts on Operation #NorthernShield and other operational issues.

The IDF delegation to #Moscow, led by the Head of the Operations Directorate, Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, will return to Israel tonight following meetings between the two militaries' senior officials.

During the meeting IDF officers presented details of Operation #NorthernShield to their Russian counterparts. A central topic that was discussed was the improvement of the two militaries' deconfliction system in the northern region.

The IDF will continue operating to prevent Iranian entrenchment and the arming of #Hezbollah in #Syria.
The delegations reached an understanding and agreed to continue in their joint work.
