Today in the morning #ISIS attacked from its last holdout at #Baghouz
At the moment two AH-64A Apaches are overhead and constant sound of jets

At the battle against #ISIS in #Baghouz fire is still burning, producing thick black smoke. Sporadic gunfire: KPV, DShK and small arms. No jets or helicopters but constant presence of RQ9 drones overhead.

Fighting against #ISIS has resumed at #Baghouz at the moment. Major assault appears to be underway

#SDF has taken full control of the no-mans-land between them & #ISIS in #Baghouz.
Now they are fighting to take back the town building-by-building, room-by-room.
So far this afternoon only 2 air strikes had been carried out by coalition aircraft.
Two huge explosions rocked #baghouz shortly after sunset around 17.10, then a third ten minutes later. Significant amounts of ammunition could seen eminating from the blasts as if ammo dumps or trucks had been hit

As the light failed heavy tracer fire began to light up the sky. There have recently been sustained and heavy fighting. The smell of primer is now thick in the air at our position around 3.5km from the centre of #Baghouz
