Our City Council meeting is starting NOW! We’ve got a packed house. You can watch online via Seattle Channel: seattlechannel.org/watch-live #MedicareForAll #HealthIsAHumanRights

There are a lot of Seattle residents joining us today to testify in support of Rep. Jayapal's #Medicare4All bill! We've heard from a resident in need of affordable long-term care and a physician all in support.

Hearing from a retired nurse who worked in a psychiatric unit. She's in favor of #Medicare4All b/c medication was just too expensive & time with a provider was limited to only 15 minutes. She believe a single-payer insurance program will solve for these issues and save lives!

Next up a nurse practitioner, who also supports #Medicare4All because our healthcare costs are the most expensive in the world and, in spite of that, we have the worst health outcomes. #HealthcareIsAHumanRight

@seattlekcnaacp in the house to also support Rep. Jayapal's #Medicare4All bill highlighting that access to health insurance disproportionately impact our African-American community. "This is a morale imperative." 🙌🏽
