Here's my first map in #30DayMapChallenge (late start)

Animation shows population growth in India's big cities between 1901 n 2011. Rapid Urbanisation holds lot of challenges!

I've been working in @WRICitiesIndia for last 5 years in trying to make our cities more sustainable

Late start but I'll catch up!

My 3rd Map for #30DayMapChallenge shows village boundaries in Tamil Nadu

Thought of adding colours to local bodies that have elected representatives but then #TamilNadu s not having elected local body for years. I.e. No mayors, no ward councillors etc to complaint or even blame!

Village/Town/Corporation boundaries as of 2011. Has some issues with geo-referencing but this is the best I got 😇

@ptrmadurai @TRBRajaa @EzhilarasanCvmp @KanimozhiDMK @ChennaiRains @dhanyarajendran @SPVelumanicbe @CMOTamilNadu @Devimagan @mahajournalist My 4th Map for #30DayMapChallenge shows Earthquakes between 2000 and now for India and its neighbourhood (mag > 2.5)

Each Hexagon shows Earthquake incident density in first map (in 3D) and average magnitude in the second map
