Rejecting APS money is the best way to ensure Arizona leaders are putting people over profits, as stated by our ED, @ljdent in @AzCapitolTimes azcapitoltimes.com/news/2018/10/2…
In 2018, Chispa AZ PAC’s endorsed candidates pledged to reject APS money. In 2019, @climatestrikeaz also challenged candidates and elected officials to pledge to reject APS money.
As the #AZLeg starts, we expect Arizona Democrat Leaders will hear the voice of the community and pledge to put #peopleoverprofits and polluters by rejecting APS money.
Lastly, here’s a list of candidates Chispa AZ PAC endorsed in 2018, all who committed to rejecting utility money.
Update to this thread! Rep. Richard Andrade since followed up on his original comments, saying that “I did send back the APS check this year.”
