How’s everyone doing? I hope we are all doing our best to follow directives and act wisely in this season. For many of us, a situation like this is unprecedented- even Ebola was a different scenario. #COVID19 #CoronaUpdate

As we continue to navigate this terrain, we must continue to think, plan and act not just for our own good but for the good of community. In this fight against #COVID19 togetherness is essential.
One thing I want to encourage is having a sense of #collectiveleadership.

In the space where u are, what can u do differently? Can you provide food stuff and toiletries to the less privileged? Can you educate those around you about proper sanitation habits? Can you encourage people to work from home or lend financial help to those clearly struggling?

Can you even help someone with phone data so s/he is not cut off?
Remember that if we are on lock down for a while- many will struggle- #widows, #artisans, #pettytraders, the #unemployed and even #foreigners. Let’s lend a helping hand. #collectiveleadership #COVID19

For churches and other organizations, we can do even more- we can institutionalize our help through our cell groups/small groups to reach those who need help in communities. #collectiveleadership #COVID19

We should also deliberately reach out to government and relevant agencies to indicate that we are willing to lend a hand and help the cause.We should be willing to give up our church facilities as #isolationcamps and testing centre if need be. #collectiveleadership #CoronaUpdate

Lastly, though movement is restricted as the days progress we have to keep finding ways to help widows, those in prisons and the destitute. Let’s do it together. #Collectiveleadership. #covid19
