Today, @HoustonHealth is reporting 175 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the total to 1,320 in the City of Houston.

We are saddened to announce one death bringing the City of Houston's total to 11. A young man in his 30s with underlying conditions passed away on April 1st.

We received confirmation today that our federal partners will not leave Houston and will stay through April 30th. That means we'll continue to receive funding for the #COVID19 testing sites and and we'll continue to receive PPE.

A @RiceKinderInst study finds that in the two weeks since Harris County's #StayHomeWorkSafe ordinance, 4,4533 lives have already been saved and 48,812 fewer people have had to be hospitalized due to #COVID19.

#SocialDistancing is working, y'all! Keep it up! #StayHomeSaveLives

28 municipal workers have tested positive for #COVID19.

Let's come together at noon on Thursday for a moment of silence or prayer as we get through this #coronavirus emergency together.

🚨 We are keeping the parks open, but park rangers have been advised that if people are not engaging in #socialdistancing, they have the power to close the park. They do not need to ask the mayor for permission. If a park is crowded, please go to another park. 🚨
