As part of a campaign of ethnic cleansing in the #Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, the Israeli government has been evicting #palestinians from their homes and giving handing them over to Jews.

These evictions sparked protests which are documented in a film produced by Just Vision, titled “Home Front: Portraits From Sheik Jarrah.” focuses on the battle between the residents of the neighborhood, the Israeli settlers moving into their homes.

The Orient House is the most impressive home built in the neighborhood. It was built in 1897 by Ismail Musa Al-Husseini.Orient House served as a center for political activity. In 2001, it was raided by the Israeli security forces and closed down. #FlyTheFlag
