And not for nothing, but I believe in the work they do at @insidehighered and @chronicle. If I didn't, I wouldn't bother criticizing them. I just want them to do better.

A lot of rebuttals cite evidence of the effectiveness of #onlinelearning and its many affordances. But I'm wondering if we need to shift tactics a bit. Because this isn't really about the quality of #onlinelearning. It's not about evidence. It's about power and the status quo.
