Grassroots-Democratic Multi-National Socialism (#GrDMNS)

This is the name of my political philosophy, on which the political parties & movement, #Contrapot, I am initiating is based.

#Contrapot in opposition to #MeltingPot, which is the political philosophy of #BigBrother.

BB's political philosophy of post-racial multiculturalism & DIVERSITY is Orwellian newspeak for a global melting pot, the destroyer of genuine human diversity (a product of pre-modern #NaturalSegregation). It goes to opposite but equally insane extremes of Nazi racial ideology.

My purpose is to liberate humanity from its enslavement to Big Brother & #TheMatrix of state & capital, & create a more just, humane, democratic &, above all, SUSTAINABLE, alternative to the existing world order on our finite, vulnerable & overpopulated planet, #SpaceshipEarth.

George Orwell based 1984 on 1930s fascism & communism, which he projected onto a future Britain. He couldn't know how #BigBrother would embrace #LiberalDemocracy, #AntiFascism & #AntiRacism responsible for the Orwellian nature of our current situation.

Big Brother is not a modern phenomenon, but as old as the state itself. In medieval times his power was split between Church & state. Now his power is imbedded within #TheMatrix of state & capital. By posing as our nation, he tricks us into loving him. No need for torture.

#TheMatrix is not a near-future creation by intelligent machines, as in the film, but an ancient creation of man himself. It is an analogy for civilisation & the state, the primary purpose of which has always been to facilitate the exploitation of human & natural resources.

Big Brother & the Matrix should be understood as abstract emergent phenomena from our collective subconscious, where evolved human nature has been perverted by the state & its abuse of power, especially in its most versatile form of money & most subtle form of moral authority.

Just as a computer needs an operating system (OS), so too does society (SOS). The existing SOS is the world order of #NationStates & #ConsumerCapitalism, which are Orwellian constructs, based on lies, deceit & different regimes of rewards & intimidation.

As a consequence, the existing SOS is inherently unjust, inhumane & unsustainable on our finite, vulnerable & overpopulated planet, & thus must be replaced.

It is a proprietary system which serves the personal self-interests of favoured clients of Big Brother & capital.

We are ALL clients of BB, of course, but some of us are far more favoured than others, especially if we own capital which provides us with unearned income.

Favoured clients want to preserve their favoured status, of course, not just for themselves, but for their family as well.

And not just for their family, but also for the noble causes they patronise & support, be it social justice, art, science, or whatever.

Thus, everyone who is anyone in society, with any wealth or privilege, has a huge, seemingly justified, interest in preserving the status quo, creating a double-bind & making it virtually impossible to effect anything like the degree of change necessary to preserve civilisation.

What I propose is the creation of a very different, non-proprietary, SOS, I call #Contrapot, based on the spirit & philosophy of #OpenSource software.

I see myself as a kind of #LinusTorvalds as he went about creating the Linux computer OS.

We can't simply abolish the existing SOS of nation states & consumer capitalism, because we will continue to depend on it (not least, to enforce the rule of law & non-violence), while we are creating the alternative, #Contrapot, SOS.

Am I making sense? I hope so.
