I sat down with #Libertarian @LPNational presidential candidate Jo @Jorgensen4POTUS.

On police: She says federal gov't has militarized local police into looking like "soldiers" with "us versus them" mentality. She'd like to reverse that.

Full interview:

On #BlackLivesMatter, she sees common ground with the movement in general, but clarifies that she doesn't agree with national BLM leadership who have identified themselves as "Marxist."

She says government is "causing the problems" and "big government" can't be the solution.

On the nationwide protests, @Jorgensen4POTUS draws a distinction "between the peaceful protesters" and "opportunists who are hijacking the movement."

She says that the #Antifa movement is "probably more fascist than even our government."

On day one of a @Jorgensen4POTUS presidency, she says she could "start bringing the troops home" without needing permission from the Republicans and Democrats in congress to do so.

She tells me "I want to turn America into one giant Switzerland, armed and neutral."

On COVID, she emphasizes need for testing, and blames the FDA for creating obstacles and Trump for telling people "if you don't have symptoms, don't get tested."

She adds that she knows it would be difficult, but she'd like the stimulus tax money that went to companies returned.

On the $1200 that went to (or was supposed to go to) every American, she's also opposed, noting the costs in between when money is taken via taxation and delivered back to the people.

On that note, I mentioned @AndrewYang's UBI proposal as a solution to automation.

@Jorgensen4POTUS opposes it, noting that past technological advances have led to new and better jobs.

She wants to leave the money in people's hands and reduce regulations to create more jobs.

An example @Jorgensen4POTUS cites of how regulations are a barrier to job creation is the illegality - in some areas - of braiding hair without a license.

In some cases she says new hair braiders are forced by the government to pay their competitors for "training."

I also asked @Jorgensen4POTUS her view of unions as a non-state tool to protect workers.

"I'm completely in favor of people assembling," she says, "however, they do not have the right to get help from the government in holding their employer hostage."

I hope this interview was informative for viewers hoping to learn about Libertarian @LPNational presidential candidate @Jorgensen4POTUS.
