Drove at 90 to 100 kmph on a couple of stretches on the DS DBO road. The black top, in places cemented road makes it a #GameChanger for quick movement of men & material & for casualty evacuation. Major challenge for BRO will be to keep passes open during winters & heavy snowfall.
At the Col Chevang Rincin, MVC** SM Setu enroute #DBO. World's highest bridge of its specification. Took only 14 working months to build & now military convoys have all weather access to Depsang & DBO. No wading through Shyok river. Multiple bridges & roads coming up in the area.
