Saxony-Anhalt wants to reopen all areas open to the public in November. The state government announced after the cabinet meeting in Magdeburg that clubs and discos should be able to receive guests again from November 1st.
The visitor limit should be 60 percent of the number of people specified in the operating permit, said Minister of Economics Armin Willingmann. Prostitution facilities can reopen immediately.
In restaurants, the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can in future be exceeded if there are suitable partition options such as plexiglass walls. With access restrictions or admission controls it should be ensured that no more than groups of ten were formed in the indoor and
outdoor areas. It is important that contacts are traceable. The upper limit for events in closed rooms, which is currently 500 people, is to increase to 1000 from November 1st.
Professional sports and cultural events could be possible with significantly more participants with special approval. Private celebrations are still possible with up to 50 people.
