Hundreds gather at #SCOTUS to mourn the loss of #RuthBaderGinsburg.

Hundreds leave flowers and candles on steps of Supreme Court.

You’re aurally not allowed to protest on the Supreme Court steps, but this is people mourning, not protesting.

When someone comes up the steps with a sign, such as this “Please flush traitor” sign with Trump’s head in a toilet, police make them step off.

Both flags outside Supreme Court are at half-mast.

It’s dark, but you can see the size of the crowd from here at the top of the #SCOTUS.

I want to be clear: this isn’t a political demonstration. No chanting. Not many signs.
