🧪 Experiment: Social Buzz to Attract Smart Money.

I'm really curious to test whether my @LunarCRUSH ALTRank™ social noise theory is true. I've always thought that creating educational outbound Social Buzz was the way to drive new attention.

2/ And we can definitely argue that it's been my strategy from the get-go. Notice I have 7,715 tweets? 95% are @thorchain_org related. Notice I developed @THORChainHammer to let anyone easily deploy quality content to the right audiences. You just have to pick the right Pack.

3/ It may be repetitive, but every newcomer has to be pointed into the right direction. The difference in this case with an outbound effort: we introduce them to @thorchain_org. In an inbound effort, they would've had searched for cross-chain swap solutions themselves.

4/ But often enough, people don't think that way -- nor do they know what they need. Instead of letting their assets sit idle on exchanges / cold wallets, soon they'll be able to stake them for yields in pools.

5/ IMO when buzz is created by a group of users, it works even-better. Perhaps #DeFi audiences have already been exhausted? Perhaps they're just chasing pumps and the next easy money? It's time to look at long-term audiences, because ultimate it's what matters.

6/ And by long-term audiences I mean #BTC #XMR. These are fairly untapped in #DeFi, and it likely has to do with the fact that no native solutions have existed like @thorchain_org. Personally speaking, I also wouldn't want to synthesize/wrap my #BTC on #ETH.

7/ With Multi-Chain ChaosNet right around the corner, the time to drive awareness to #BTC is now. They need to understand that @thorchain_org isn't like the others, and that the network is being hardened during ChaosNet. I trust 99 anon nodes much more than team controlled ones.

8/ Let's take this opportunity to experiment. Can be reversed with quality outbound 1-on-1 efforts? Pushing quality ads are one things, but conversations are stronger. People always tend to trust information when it comes as a referral.

9/ Some of conversations can happen by pure luck i.e. spotting things

10/ While others take a bit of outbound manual effort.

So how can you do what I've been doing for over a year?

Search for relevant conversations on Twitter, and make use of the @THORChainHammer Starter Packs:

11/ The experiment is to make noise in the right places to draw the attention of Smart Money, and this time we're not after #DeFi crowds. We're after #BTC maxis that'll need strong validation that a network is hardened enough to trust it with their assets.

12/ It's a win-win if we create buzz while 's on sale, because:

1) It benefits them to own for symmetrical staking.
2) MC = TVL * 3
3) @thorchain_org is at a stage where it's transitioning from a speculative to deterministic asset. Won't take much for the flip.

13/ Is this the bottom? Let's make it the bottom. We've been resilient through much tougher market conditions. This is the opportunity for the community to drive that awareness as buyers debate where to park Smart Money next.

14/ Let's be that #buzz, we've got all the tools and fundamentals in place.
