So if I have been questioning anyone with zero clinical background, persistent that all curriculum must meet standards, or questioning anyone consuming academic/hospital resources, this is why. I do not apologize for prioritizing care. We need to cut out waste to preserve care.

It also makes me SO happy that when I speak up in that class or email the professor if he can urge people to be authentic - not just have #BLM performatory hashtag but then to invest time in attending the Black Business Students Association meetings - he does step up
