Our local case fatality rate for May 1-June 14 is 3.7%—higher than the world average of 1-3%. This is at least partly due to many older cases: 36% of our cases (90% of deaths) are over 60. In California, only 11% of cases (83% of deaths) are this old. Be vigilant. 4/5

CASES & DEATHS and their 7-DAY AVERAGE BY AGE for May 1-June 14 (the latest age-matched data available). Deaths lag >2 weeks behind cases due to the period of illness and paperwork. We have a large number of older cases and deaths. Stay safe and #WorkFromHome! 5/5
