Today we shift the focus from Trump dealing with the bizarre cult that bears his name, to how the Republican party, the GOP (Grand Old Party) deals with the cult. I will set you up with an analogy

GOP leadership deals with the Trump Cult, Cult45, like an older suddenly-enlightened brother joins parents, to sustain illusion of Santa Claus to the younger sister, who still believes
"Tomi, you may not shatter this illusion for your little sister"

But like my analogy, they must 'play along' like Tomi big brother in to his little sister. We know Santa is not real, but we must sustain this illusion, because SHE still believes.
