Perkins Coie lawyer billed Clinton Campaign for the project to frame Trump for Russian Collusion!

The 'journalists' at the @nytimes seem puzzled that it will be politically explosive that one of the DNC & Hillary's lawyers is going to be indicted for lying to the FBI to trick them into investigating Donald Trump's links to Russia.
I guess this is the new Republicans Pounce!
@nytimes Of course Trump & his supporters have accused the DNC, Perkins Coie, Sussman, & the Clinton Campaign of framing Trump for Russian Collusion.
Because that is what happened.
Sussman reportedly lied to the FBI that he was not representing a client while giving the FBI a false report
That false report alleged suspicious internet contacts between the Trump Organization & the Russia's Alfa Bank.
Sussman later told Congress in sworn testimony that he was representing the IT security expert who created the report.
Durham has informed DOJ that he will be presenting an indictment to his grand jury to charge Sussmann. AG Garland let the indictment move forward, so many Dems will have a fit that he allowed this. He'll be branded a deep state agent protecting the institution, just like Barr was
Here is one of those defenseive leaks, that the cybersecurity reasearchers "thought that odd internet data might be evidence" against Trump.
But the data was false, who faked it is still open to debate but expect there to be #receipts paying for the report!
The report was clearly generated for Perkins Coie's opposition research campaign conducted for the Clinton Campaign. The research was fed into the Steele Dossier before it was public & Fusion GPS was pushing the information to reports at various outlets.
Sussmann believed NYT was going to cover this story (his excuse for going to the FBI) because his law firm was paying Glenn Simpson & Fusion GPS to trick the NY Times & others into covering the fake story.
The IT researchers, Steele, & Simpson all worked for/with Perkins Coie
I love the last section, pure defensive leak. There is so far no public evidence that the IT researchers cherry picked or rigged the data to make it look like Trump was colluding.
We'll see what non-public evidence Durham has found!
Then the hidden bombshell, Durham found Sussmann billed Hillary's campaign for hours he used working with the IT researchers on the Alfa Bank project.
I expect that Perkins Coie (hereafter PC) tried to shield those records with Attorney Client Privilege or Work Product Privilege
This investigation is almost certainly what lead to the spit between Perkins Coie & Marc Elias's team. His actions placed the firm in legal jeopardy.
They have now split into 2 firms. Elias representing the DNC & their politicians. PC representing the DNCs donors.
I did a thread on this a few weeks ago speculating that PC & Elias were attempting to limit the damage done by DOJ or Alfa Bank cases getting attorney client privilege waived due to the lawyers participating in crimes with their clients.
On Monday the judge in the Alfa Bank case ordered a hearing for 9/23/21to resolve the defendants who defamed Alfa Bank with this false reporting to force the handover of documents they are falsely claiming are protected by attorney client & other privileges. HT @FOOL_NELSON

But they try to spin it that he wasn't actually working for the Clinton Campaign when he talked to the Clinton lead lawyer about efforts to frame Trump for Russian collusion.
When Durham came to ask questions of the IT researcher, he dropped Sussmann as his attorney & hired a new lawyer for the case!
Through his lawyer, the IT researcher claims he did not know that Sussman was using his 'research' for the Clinton Campaign against Donald Trump.
Of course Trump would be suspicious of PC for hiring people for the Clinton Campaign & DNC to generate false information & trick FBI into investigating Trump.
All of which was designed to lead to a big NYT's story on the eve of the election announcing the FBI's case against Trump
The coup de grace to Trump's 2016 campaign was supposed to be a NYT's story confirming that FBI was investigating Trump for being a Russian agent.
Imagine had that story broken a week before the election!
Because Comey's FBI convinced the NYTs to publish the opposite story. That the the FBI had found no evidence of Trump Russian Collusion.
Sabotaging the entire effort to frame Trump in the media by exposing that their fake oppo research effort fooled FBI.
On of Fusion GPS's Russian translators who worked on the effort to frame Trump for collusion knew exactly who to blame for exonerating Trump before the 2016 election.
Ed Baumgartner knew who just cost Hillary the election by countering Fusion GPS's lies written for Perkins Coie!
Which takes us back to Perkins Coie, who has hired lawyers to try & convince Durham's team to not indict the law firm for their efforts to frame Trump during the 2016 election.
Which means there must be evidence that Sussmann is not the only person involved!

Looks like Perkins Coie may have lied to the Wall Street Journal by claiming that Sussman was not the "point man for the firm's D.N.C. and Clinton campaign accounts"
Something his billing records & conversations with Marc Elias about the fake report show to be fact.
Unfortunately, people who fell for the false stories attacking FBI & many of their personnel may help Sussmann escape justice.
Fake Swampy conservative attacks on Baker, Comey & the FBI may undermine their credibility as witnesses.
Allowing Sussmann to claim this is all political

So PC's oppo team, sending a PC lawyer dirt on Alfa, for a project billed to HRC.

@Techno_Fog also brings up the fact that Sussmann was the DNC's lawyer contacted when they discovered they had been hacked. That Sussmann (former DOJ) brought in Crowdstrike to attribute the attack because he knew Shawn Henry former FBI & boss of the FBI analysts in cyber...
@Techno_Fog There is one correction needed to this. Sussman did not bring in Crowdstrike after the 'Russia' hack.
Sussman brought in Crowdstrike before the primaries to accuse Bernie Sanders' campaign of hacking the DNC too!

Plus Sussman gave this info to Steele so he would add it to his dossier, 2 months before he gave it to the FBI.
