Red and Yellow #WMATA riders are seeing some additional trains today:

In addition, it appears #WMATA has begun to re-add two 8 car trains on the Blue line (still running every 39 minutes, though)

Riders on the Yellow Line are going to see two eight-car, 7000-series trains running. These trains are not in service and are part of the agency's plan submitted last week to the WMSC. #wmata

#wmata submitted its testing plan to the WMSC; some more trains are back today on the Red and Yellow lines. I don't have the Magic Eight Ball yet that will tell me when things will be back to normal, though.

Connolly focuses partially here on why the #wmata Chief Mechanical Officer and their office didn't tell the WMSC about the ongoing 7K wheel alignment issue.

The two #wmata 7000-series test trains have wrapped up on the Yellow line and have switched to the Orange line. Riders between Vienna and New Carrollton will see two non-revenue/out-of-service 7000-series trains running for the next couple of days.

Don't look now, but there's an 8-car train out in the wild on the Silver Line today. Two are running on the Blue Line as well. #wmata
