Today, Beijing represents a frowning, finger-pointing, never-erring crank, its constant vitriol diminishes the effectiveness of Chinese anger.

Similar dynamics are changing the minds of world leaders. In #Europe Beijing’s belligerence dented its image & inadvertently boosted #Taiwan 's international profile.
4/ Seeing opportunity to boost its profile in #Europe , #Taipei sent a delegation of more than 60 Taiwanese officials & businesspeople visited #Lithuania #Slovakia & the #CzechRepublic , signing a slew of technology-focused agreements in October.
5/ This is a “malicious provocative act,” the Chinese wolf-warrior Zhao Lijian said, adding: “The despicable maneuvers by a few individuals in #CzechRepublic are doomed to fail. We urge them to promptly change course, otherwise they'll end up swallowing bitter fruits themselves.”
