🚨🚨 Breaking - the number of confirmed #Covid19 patients in hospital continues to fall in #Wales

◾️ Total cases in hospital 77% lower than this time last year

◾️ The % of Covid19 tests coming back positive is flat - now around 16.8%

◾️ The Covid-19 cases rate in Wales has been relatively flat over the past week. It has been fluctuating with different levels of testing.

◾️ The % of tests coming back positive is also relatively flat at the moment.

◾️ The Isle of Anglesey has the highest percentage of tests coming back positive in Wales

◾️ Ceredigion has the lowest rate

◾️ 3 deaths reported in Wales today where there was a positive test for #Covid19.

◾️ Deaths have been falling in recent weeks and are 85% lower than this time last year.

1️⃣ 2,479,789 first doses given out - 90.1% of 12 and over

2️⃣ 2,285,976 second doses given out - 83.1% of 12 and over

3️⃣ 1,242,837 booster / third doses given out - 45.2% of 12 and over

A further 50 patients definitely or probably caught #Covid19 in Welsh hospitals in the w/e 12 Dec - down from 70 previous week

It takes the total to 8,491 since the start of the pandemic
