was detained by police when they went to the nearest shop for food at around 23:00-00:00.
The interviewer asked for the reason for their detention.

AKYLBEKOV Daulet: The reason given for the detention was violation of the curfew.

On 14 January, there was a court decision to release the detainees with a note that the reason for the young people being on the street at that time was to buy food and groceries.
