I love how folk (mostly White) on the left want whole ass gigantic mountains, the heavens & the 🌍 to be moved to expedite the prosecution of Trump’s cabal but when we asked y’all to police your White peeps away from voting for him in the 1st place, y’all couldn’t be bothered. 😒

We’ve literally been warning y’all that this shit was a Klan kleptocracy disaster just waiting to happen for not just years or decades, but CENTURIES. Y’all’s sense of urgency & justice is still hampered by your myopic privilege so you fail to realize that we’re already TOO LATE.

Millions are dead from COVID worldwide and thousands are dying every damn day in this Russia/Ukraine war (that was explicitly promised & ordained as a consequence of Trump in the WH), so y’all still need to disabuse yourselves of the notion that damage control is a glamorous job.

Also the other notion Y’ALL need to be disabused of is the one that hits a brick wall at “police your White peeps” b/c Fox & the GOP have rendered them brain dead. At what point are y’all gonna use your White power to take down the PURVEYORS of the propaganda that’s killing them?

A lot of y’all are so used to evading consequences in your own lives (as a result of your own White/White adjacent privilege) that you still refuse to wrap your mind around the reality that THESE are the CONSEQUENCES of your APATHY & outright REFUSAL to be intersectional in ‘16.

Bottom line is *we meant what we said* when we told Y’ALL ALL of this shit was gonna be epically fucked up to hell & back but NO. You didn’t listen, you didn’t prepare, you didn’t vote & you didn’t do a damn thing to fix ANY of it. We still don’t trust you & WON’T depend on you.

Precisely 🎯 BUT it’s that latter part that has folk melting down in my mentions on a regular basis. People are well versed/highly skilled at mourning, booing, Monday-morning-quarterbacking & pointing fingers BUT what they DON’T wanna do is take responsibility for THEIR INACTION.

Now that enough time has passed for the hit dogs to show up and holler in this thread 😒, I’d also like to add how striking it is that 1) an ample number have shamelessly told on themselves despite it being 2022, The Year of our Queen & reliable ally Betty White and 2) see 1.

But seriously though, 3) these people swore up & down they had the sauce for a full blown revolution but when you scroll their rebuttals it’s clear their failures are rooted in the narcissism of the individual/interpersonal ego being prioritized ahead of the power of a COALITION.

IOW I mostly see White people (who mostly do seem to mean very well btw) lamenting their own personal “failure” to deprogram their Trumper kin as if that’s what we even mean when we say *Whiteness* isn’t adequately policed. Y’all aren’t fully grasping the ubiquity of SYSTEMS yet.

Y’all think you’re being admonished for not being able to unbrainwash folk we ALREADY KNOW are incapable of laying down their armor of White supremacy/oligarchy/theocracy/patriarchy. The allyship we’re seeking is your INTERSECTIONAL commitment to the civil/human rights coalition.

THIS👇🏾 right here is the crux of the dichotomy and why this whole thread is acutely evergreen. I’m wondering why non-fascist White America continues to be fresh out of ideas and asking *other* folk to intervene but when it’s us with the cultural disparity it’s OUR PROBLEM to fix.

Actually it’s NO wonder at all b/c when your puritanical lefty priorities prevent you from building a coalition, you’re cordoned off in a maze of futility b/c you don’t have the 💵, ads or crossover *votes* you need to WIN. You won’t even let White supremacy TRY to disarm itself.

IOW, I’m old enough to remember when Liz (read Bernie by extension) thought she could easily book a ticket to the WH by giving Bloomberg the Bain Capital treatment circa PBO v. Mitt ‘12 but it flopped for her b/c Black voters KNEW we needed his ad/GOTV 💵 AND to NOT vote for him.

All of the above coalition building/election winning concepts are completely foreign to privileged people b/c they’re deluded in bootstraps rugged individualism and refuse to buy into the intersectional benefits of a multicultural coalition. They blow up the tent with their ego.

They also blow up the tent w/their terminal deficiency of discernment. They don’t know what effective, reliable allyship is so they routinely idolize like-minded ideologues who *also* aren’t effective or reliable when it comes to civil/human rights & intersectionality. THEY flee.

Not only do they flee like thieves in the dead of night, they vilify and disown any & every effort to use both light, gray and dark money to beat Citizens United and the GOP at their OWN game. They shoot every last cause they purport to champion in the foot by DIVESTING from it.

Many of y’all are failing at adequately policing the Whiteness within your social ranks not b/c you refuse to discuss politics with them but b/c you’ve allowed them (and yourself) to believe that classism/capitalism are bigger barriers to egalitarianism than racism & sexism are.

Long story short, all of the above is how we’ve arrived at an as of yet unmitigated, fascist, treasonous Constitutional crisis for the 2nd time in our nation’s history since 1861; mainstream White America’s insistence upon using euphemisms & purity to evade consequences & change.

The timeouts y’all were raised on didn’t teach you any pain, lessons or consequences, so the sense of urgency you should be concerned with rn is rapidly rehabilitating yourself in time for Election Day. It could very well be our last so stop just booing and make sure you #VOTE.
