As of 2016, #Nigeria had a total of 7 Fertilizer Blending plants, only FOUR of which were operating at partial capacity.

As of the end of 2021, there were 64 fully-functioning Blending Plants in the country. Another 8 new ones have been cleared to start operating in 2022.

.@Waltersmithng completed and began operating a brand new 5,000bpd Modular Refinery (MR) in Imo State in 2020. And simultaneously broke ground on the next phase - which will take total capacity to 50,000bpd. It is one of about six new MRs being developed in the Buhari era.

In 2022, @MBuhari commissioned the largest granulated urea plant in Africa, built by @DangoteGroup. $2.5B investment. Has the capacity to export up to half a billion dollars worth of urea annually, in addition to local supplies. Now already exporting to North & South America.

.@skaalfarms commissioned a brand new meat-processing plant in Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, in February 2022. Has the capacity to process 100 pigs and 50 cows daily. The opposition cannot say this one is a lie, lol:

OCP Africa Fertilizers Nigeria Ltd (parent company is Moroccan) is completing a Fertilizer blending Plant in Kaduna. Sitting on 10 hectares of land, with production capacity of 120 metric tonnes of fertilizer per hour. OCP is investing $11.7m, @USAID is putting in a $1.4m grant.

Nord Automobiles @nordmotion, a Nigerian automotive manufacturer, opened a vehicle assembly plant in Lagos in 2020, to produce Nord Tank, Nord Max, Nord Tusk, Nord Flit, Nord A3 Sedan, Nord A5 SUV, etc. @PoliceNG recently acquired some Nord vehicles businessday.ng/amp/transport/…

This is happening in the livestock and dairy sector: Global players like Promasidor, Danone, etc are investing across #Nigeria. But of course most of what you will hear is how things are not working, with little focus on how things are changing for the better:
