2/Moreover, those with previous infection were conferred nearly 2X less risk of severe disease and death from Omicron BA1, BA4 & BA5 (aHR 0.19,95% CI: 0.16;0.22) VS those double vaccinated (aHR 0.58, 95% CI: 0.54;0.63) implying that vaccination was less effective than infection
3/ Finally, prior #Covid infection provided nearly equal protection against severe disease and death from all Omicron subvariants (aHR 0.19, 95% CI: 0.16;0.22) VS being triple vaccinated (aHR 0.24, 95% CI: 0.15;0.39)
4/ Do not let the media fool you into believing it is a problem that vaccine escape is occurring with these new subvariants because most people (even vaccinated) have some natural immunity which is likely equal or more protective than ineffective COVID vaccines
