Day 3 of #MonsoonSession starts
MPs in #LokSabha protest in a new way today!
Some of them are carrying milk / curd packets in the House (see video below)!
Speaker asks everyone to let Q Hour run, during Zero Hour, he will let MPs raise their issues

MoS Food, Public Distribution, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, claims that storage facilities work, no grain wasted or destroyed after 2014.
An MP asks that grain destroyed during transportation, look into this...

Minister again repeats - enough capacity, nothing getting destroyed! Under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, 80 crore people provided free ration. Then says that she can give figures pre 2014 of wastage, now no destruction, except due to rain etc.
Several MPs ask stats for their states.

As Speaker tries to pacify protesting MPs, they continue raising slogans & placards.
Parl Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi also intervenes, claims Opposition not interested in debate.
As protests continue, House adjourned till 2pm after running for 15 mins.

After this, papers, reports are tabled.

The Leader of Opposition, Mallikarjun Kharge is called to speak. He says that he has moved 267 notice (adjournment) to discuss #pricerise, #inflation, common person suffering
Chair intervenes, some disruption

Chair says in Business Advisory Committee it was proposed that discussion be kept on #Pricerise, he has agreed. So debate will likely happen.
But as MPs protest, demand discussion right away, Chair swiftly adjourns House till 2pm after running it for 6 mins!

No business conducted
A Bill was listed for discussion, but MPs were protesting #pricerise #GSThike
Deputy Chair asked some MPs to not take pics, videos
P Wilson, DMK called to speak on Bill, request House to be put in order

Deputy Chair asks him to speak on Bill, he requests order in House!
Then Deputy Chair moves to next MP.
Protests continue.
Slogans of 'Hosh mein aao, Hosh mein aao' can be heard.
House swiftly adjourned.

Before adjournment, some MPs raised issues of urgent public importance:
- poor implementation of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana
- Funding sports, making stadiums in rural areas
- Ayushman Bharat not reaching village hospitals
