Ended my #TIFF22 experience on Day 10 with MURU, written & directed by Tearepa Kahi. More than an action-thriller; this film is a must-see as it is a response to the NZ police raids on Māori people in the Urewera mountain area. Timely and necessary imho.
#MURUfilm
My Final, Final film on Day 10 at #TIFF22 was #MartinMcDonagh’s THE BANSHEES OF INISHIRIN. An up close look at a friendship running out its course. Filled with lots of laughter and deep sadness. Colin Farrell & Brendan Gleeson never disappoint.
That’s all folx! #TIFF22 screenings & events have officially ended and I had a great time 🫶🏻
Muchas gracias to all the filmmakers & their crew as well as to TIFF staff & volunteers 💫
Stay tuned for more Hye-lights & interviews from the fest…
