In June, 🇺🇦 gov't signed a $65mln contract with 🇵🇱 for 72 🦀 Krab howitzers, of which the first 18 have been "donated" 🎁. In August @CNN reported that the Polish Krabs play a significant role in 🇺🇦 defense, showing 🇺🇦 soldiers praising the accuracy & modernity of the 🦀s.

🦀 is unique in that it combines an int'l consortium of designs. Weighing in at 58 t, the 🦀 is 12m long & 3.5m wide. It can reach a max speed of 60 km/h & has a range of 400km. It can fire at a rate of 6 rounds per min if necessary or sustain a steady barrage at 2 shells per min

🇷🇺 invasion on 🇺🇦, has raised security fears among many of 🇷🇺's neighbours leading 🇵🇱 to increase its defence spending to 3️⃣% of 𝐆𝐃𝐏 & more than 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 the size of its army to deter any attacks. 🥊

🇵🇱 has approved a $798 mln contract to purchase an additional 48 🦀 howitzers & accompanying vehicles for the 🇵🇱 Army. @mblaszczak, 🇵🇱 Deputy and Defense MP confirmed the @PGZ_pl's Huta Stalowa Wola deal at the 30th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce.

"It is important that we are consistently increasing the defense capabilities of 🇵🇱 by developing both the numerical strength of the 🇵🇱 Army and equipping it with modern equipment"

"I always emphasize that whenever we can, we order military equipment in the 🇵🇱 arms industry. This is the case with 🦀 that proved themselves during the war. They are an important weapon in the hands of 🇺🇦, they are an effective weapon in the defense of Ukraine."

"The time of peace has definitely ended, the time when wars were fought on other continents and when we looked at them only and exclusively through the prism of possible military contingents."
