#IranProtests2022 5th week of incessant protests (29th day) starting today with reports of ongoing protests in Karaj, Rashst, Hamedan and Shahinshahr.

It is 1:30 PM local time.

This is students today in Sanandaj.

In Ardabil where a high school student was allegedly beaten to death (we have not yet been able to confirm or disprove) protesters have clashed with the security forces.

My observation is that it has become extremely hard for protesters to reach large numbers in big cities such as Isfahan, Rasht, shiraz, Mashhad, etc but mid-size cities such as Yazd and Kerman there are fewer security forces.

Naziabad in south Tehran, people chanting "Down with the kid-killing regime".

Protests in this neighbourhood typically start late and numbers are hight.

Footages now show all the roads towards Evin prison are gridlocked and people have started chanting.

Now I am hearing some anecdotal evidence pointing towards this being a plan by the regime.

- At 6 PM local time prison sirens were sounded
- A prisoner on furlough was told not to return today

This cannot be people. This prison is so high security that one must be out of their mind to even consider doing this.

A despicable plan is all I can think of.

This tweep is listing a number of suspicious accounts who started tweeting about an incident in Evin prison hours before the fire broke out.

By the way, the prisoner who was on Furlough told not to return was Mehdi Hashemi, son of late Hashemi Rafsanjani, Iran's ex-president.

Also today, prison guards attacked Ward 4 (political) chanting "Heydar, Heydar" trying to incite prisoners to riot which did not happen.

So my take is they were planning to create a mayhem using various methods and nothing happened, they ended up setting the prison on fire.

All of this as a feeble attempt to create a decoy from the protests and beating up a schoolgirl to death in Ardabil.

Funny thing is their secret plan did not even take 24 hours to become known to everyone, thanks to the internet.

They denied shooting down #PS572 for 3 days until mounting evidence/footages gathered by the public pointed to IRGC missiles targeting the plain.
