Spain continues to lead the way in exports from Ukraine.
Only 25% of the ships who have left Odesa are still at sea, representing 33% of the MT of grains.
No ships transited out of the humanitarian corridor on 07Nov. Three days with no shipments. #myprecious
Eight inbound ships were inspected today. This means 36 ships are ready to load Ukrainian grain through the BSGI. I expect to see a flotilla of these eight ships enter the humanitarian corridor to Odesa in the morning.
Two outbound ships were also inspected, two more outbound inspections were started but were delayed by fumigation issues. The JCC reports “77 vessels waiting to move into Ukrainian ports plus 15 loaded vessels waiting for inspection in Turkish territorial waters.”
And finally, a reminder that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine affects the entire world and raises food prices for everyone. This is not a short term problem.
