This Ahimsa award is given every year during the celebration of Ahimsa divas/Non Violence day. It is given to a person who has spread the spirit of compassion through his life's work, meritorious contribution in literature & journalim, education, religion & social service.

Earlier Nelson Mandela, Dalai Lama, Acharyashri Mahapragynaji have received this award, recently Late Shri Padmanabha Jaini as well. Members of the British Parliament, leaders of Interfaith and dignitaries from the Indian & Jain communities were present in this ceremony.

Apart from this, an MOU regarding the course of #Jainism to be started in the University of Birmingham and the lectures of Padma Shri awardee Kumarpal Desai have been organized in England by the Oswal Centre, Navjeevan Center & Shrimad Rajchandra Centre. @Shrimad
