The Taliban's supreme leader also approved the establishment of Ulema Council for #Khost Province under chairmanship of Sheikh Mawlawi Anwar Hussain. Sheikh Anwar Hussain is deputized by Mawlawi Abdul Rahman&Mawlawi Gul Marjan is a member as well as focal point for Admin/Finance.

Note:
Ulema council also include non-Mullahs.
According to the #Taliban, "for the stability, sustainability& development of the Islamic system, it is a sharia-based principal, to take advice from religious scholars".
The provincial Ulema Councils are established to help in better organizing of the local governance affairs...
The council members have the obligation to advise provincial officials in the light of Sharia& based on their mandate for improvement of governance.
The provincial officials are also obliged to act according to their mandate, taking into consideration the Ulema council's advices.
