During the past few weeks, the city of Izeh in southwest #Iran has witnessed many developments.
The regime has been going the distance to keep a lid on intense armed clashes between locals and its security forces, resulting in many setbacks for the regime.

Some stats:
—Nearly 150 killed/injured among #Iran’s security forces in clashes lasting at least 5 hours
—At least three locals killed in clashes/under torture, more than 700-800 arrested
—Hossein Saeedi and Mahmoud Ahmadi among the locals killed

Security units launched attacks using heavy weapons (RPG, mortar rounds, grenades….) targeting villages near Izeh.
Saeedi & Ahmadi were killed. Several others arrested.
Mr. Mojahed Kurkur may also have been killed.

#Iran’s authorities intend to sentence those arrested for the November 16 killing of 9-year-old Kian Pirfalak in this city.
On that day security forces opened fire on locals in Izeh, killing many, including Kian.

Dec 21
At 5 am a new round of attacks targeted the village of Pian near Izeh. Reports indicate over 500 armed members of the security forces took part in the attack. Many locals were arrested.
Regime units ran out of ammo. More was rushed in.
Internet is severely disrupted.

State media have kept a lid on these reports. Locals say over 100-150 of the regime’s forces were killed or injured in the recent clashes.
Authorities are responding with horrific ongoing crimes against the locals. Iraqi militias have reportedly been deployed to the Izeh.

Hooman Seydali is among those abducted by #Iran's security forces from Izeh. He owned the home that Hossein Saeedi & his friends were hiding in.
Hooman had no part in the clashes & was apprehended for the sole reason of owning the home.

The mother of Mojahed Kurkur, arrested by #Iran's security forces, is asking for help to save her son from execution on "terrorism" charges.
