Why would any private (or public) university’s audited financial statements (consolidated or otherwise) and schedules of federal awards, including George Washington University’s, matter? Why even read them?

As it shows, there is more than one reporting entity, and interesting facts tend to surface. Like many urban universities, GWU also has involvemt with a hospital and substantial health care operations. I understand this should be — physicians and medical care professionals..

..Need training and supervised practice opportunities. I wouldn’t want a world where this doesn’t take place, BUT it also can overshadow (compromise?) any university faculty’s tendency to expose any harmful HHS-sponsored policies/prax directed elsewhere, like at #FamilyCourts

My own family line had two career-long gov’t lawyers in it. I was personally shocked at the lack of ethics, and the insistence on engineering (within our own family line) ways and means to NOT talk about the financials involved, or profits involved (embezzled or otherwise)

We all live and work within some context of government/s plural. All I’m saying is, basic responsibility, at a minimum in “developed” countries; if necessary, carve out the time from whatever “entertainment/distraction/decompression” time is in a day, or a week - or sleep..
