Attention! I've been completely wrong this whole time:
Male athletes racing against women aren't winning because of male puberty, they're winning because of their superior training, fitness, and tactics.
Jordan Johnson was much fitter than the women at this race, obviously:
Kallie (aka Drew) Winners certainly would not have beaten all these cat 4 women without the expert coaching of Rebecca Gross.
Evelyn Sifton just outsmarted the female racers by "taking the better line" and - miraculously - having a stronger sprint.
Tara (Todd) Seplavy simply hydrated and strategized to outsmart those female racers.
Leslie/Wesley Mumford's advice for winning is to stick to your plan and ride your own race, ladies. Well, unless there's a man in it. Then he'll probably beat you.
What can I say, Anna Rick Lisk is just better at bike racing than the women he's racing against. 🤷♀️
He can start a crit late and his incredible fitness means that he can still catch the group! He obviously could have gone pro.
Jillian (Jonathan) Bearden simply worked his ass off to win every stage in the P/1/2 at the Steamboat Stage Race. If the women had worked harder, one of them would be on the top step!

Jillian also worked his ass off to win this state champion title in 2018.
Too bad those other women didn't work their asses off.

Zahava Barwin is just generally super good at cross racing, so I'm sure you'll want to read this epic race report.
Austin Killips is always on the rivet racing against women at the @UCI_cycling World Cup level in cyclocross.
Racing at the elite level in women's cyclocross warms his heart. 💗
