Mobile internet remained down in #IndianPunjab as the police searched & chased people associated with 'Waris Punjab De' - a collective headed by Amritpal Singh, that supports an independent Punjab.

Sideways, in #Brisbane, the 2nd phase of #KhalistanReferendum came under alleged India-backed #cyberttack on electronic voting machines.
The 1st attack took 30 minutes to be fixed & the other 2 took 20 mints each.
The turn out of the voting was 11,000.

1st phase of voting in #Melbourne in Jan came under a direct attack by #RSS & #Australia also advised caution to its citizens, travelling to India.
The 3rd phase will happen in #Sydney in June. The referendum asks the que if Indian #Punjab should be an independent country.

International referendum by #SFJ on one side & crackdown on #Khalistan supporters in Punjab on the other; leading to reported arrest of 70 people so far, the question of an Independent Punjab, not governed by #India, seems to pick up fresh.
