@69mib This is nonsense. The EU has Trade Deals with the following countries which eliminate tariffs.

In addition non-reciprocal preferential access is given to developing countries. Here is a list. All countries in red and yellow are on 0% duty for all exports.

@69mib Then there are commercial arrangements that eliminate tariffs. For example all Basmati rice comes in tariff free from India and Pakistan, and most of our other rice comes in tariff free from EBA and ACP countries.
