कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः ।
जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्त्यनामयम् ।।
karmajaṃ buddhiyuktā hi phalaṃ tyaktvā manīṣiṇaḥ ।
janmabandhavinirmuktāḥ padaṃ gacchantyanāmayam ।।

People doing the tapas of buddhi-yoga leave the results of all their karma-s. They have no expectation or enjoyment from it. By doing so, they will develop the means to observe bhakti-yoga which will in turn free them from the dreaded & infinite cycle of samsara
पद्यत इति पदं - That which is attainable is called as 'padam' or 'place'.
The 'padam' here may refer to Sri Vaikunta, Nitya-Vibhuti or Parama-padam.
It means, prasiddhi or something that is well known (in veda & vedanta)

Those with 'samatva-buddhi' leave all karma-phala. By doing so, they become Atma-jnAni from which they break free of the dreaded samsara!!
