When Trump speaks at his rallies some of his psychopathic traits are on best display. He exhibits the glibness and superficial charm of a narcissist and a psychopath. Common descriptors are smooth, engaging, charming, slick, and verbally facile. 1/8
Narcissists and psychopaths are cunning master manipulators who can be very entertaining, using name dropping and storytelling. They love to be the center of attention, the life of the party — it’s the best narcissistic supply for them. 2/8
Narcissists and psychopaths attempt to establish themselves as an authority on every subject. Last night Trump claimed to have “studied diplomacy” and then knowing it was a lie, walked it back with “well not much.” He thought the deceit was humorous. 3/8
Trump uses a mocking & condescending tone to establish his “authority and superiority.” The content of his speech oscillates from grandiose to callous. His “jokes” are usually degrading, at someone else’s expense. A dying man is ridiculed. He belittles to message omnipotence. 4/8
Psychopaths do not possess a normal conscience so they can say anything without the normal social constraints of truth and morality. They know no boundaries. A psychopath never gets tongue-tied. He doesn’t need to be grounded in honesty or integrity. 5/8
Trump’s ability to “say it like it is” or his “candidness” in conjunction with his superficial charm, grandiosity, callousness, manipulativeness, entitlement, shallow affect, impulsivity, recklessness, condescension and need to be seen as superior, 6/8
should have been conveyed as a huge warning flag of psychopathy & exploitive behavior, not some unique political asset worthy of the Presidency. People have been fulfilled by the reality tv entertainment value of an unconscionable psychopath willing and able to say anything. 7/8
Trump’s supporters are on the same conscience-defective, exploitive & sadistic spectrum. The rallies are a self-feeding, self-sustaining symbiosis of sociopathy absent of normal humanity. Shame on the media for ever normalizing the behavior displayed at Trump’s rallies. 8/8

I’m waiting for a driver’s permit test taker and I’ve seen the same TSN hockey highlight 5 times. Not so insta today. 🤣 I must say the comedic part of Twitter is A+++

The physical part of being an elite athlete in sport is nothing compared to the psychological component. Anyone who doesn’t know this has never trained 30+ hours a week, sacrificing diet, education, social activities, and career for years to compete with the upper echelon.
The strive for perfection is exhausting. The lows are far more numerous than the highs.
My own personal experience, and that with young elite athletes I coached and parented, is that absolutely no one can put more pressure on them than they put on themselves. They need support.
It’s complete lunacy to expect the best in the world to stay on their A game for extended periods of time without falter. Sure a few do it but it’s much more the exception than the rule. For every star there are millions who trained just as hard as the best but never “made it.”

“Months before the election... “We could see the disinformation really taking hold, this idea that the only way President Trump could lose is if the election were rigged””

He’d already done it ‘16.

While I warned it was happening in a ‘20 thread, given access we could have warned about the extensive grooming that takes place before a narcissistic psychopath discards. Like any target/victim, in this case the election, they are discredited as unreliable, unworthy and unstable
Grooming is essential to get enablers/bystanders to buy into the magnitude of the subversion/wrongdoing. The previous relationship (here with democracy) is to be ignored. It was unfaithful, unworthy, and the exploiter treated “unfairly” so any compensatory behavior is justified.

In Biden’s first press conference will he make a mistake, misspeak, misrepresent or God forbid stumble? Maybe.

What Biden won’t do because he’s not a narcissistic psychopath:
• Deliberately and serially lie
•Fabricate
• Hiss like a reptilian creature.
• Call reporters “fake news” “enemies of the people” “losers” “nasty”
• Mock a disabled reporter
• Tell female journalists of color they ask stupid questions when he’s held to account
• Revoke press credentials as retribution for tough questions
• Discredit his experts
• Demean world leaders
• Discredit international organizations
• Use racial epithets like “Kung flu” or “Pocahontas”
• Threaten to destroy Canada’s economy
• Suggest injecting bleach as a Covid treatment
• play self congratulatory propaganda videos
• Walk out abruptly

After Hurricane Katrina, an O’Reilly Fox News fill-in tried to say the quick response by the “leftist” Canadian government to send supplies by ship was done just to embarrass the US/Bush. What kind of depraved manipulators think providing humanitarian aid is done to embarrass?
This is the low to which narcissistic/psychopathic manipulators go to deflect from accountability for their incompetence/wrongdoing. For decades Fox News has exhibited attitudes, traits & psychological manipulative tactics for power & control, consistent with exploitive pathology
Texas is paying for the GOP lies, manipulations, & exploitation through pain, suffering & lives of another catastrophe where preventable measures were ignored. Then we’re all supposed to pay for the exploitation of the GOP through taxes, insurance premiums and charitable giving?

Journalists and MSM are going to ghost Trump (eventually) the way they ghosted mental health care professionals?

Not holding my breath.

Just to be clear...

washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/medi…
Fascinating
Captivating
Insulting
Maneuvering
Insulting
Threatening
Outrageous
Attention-seeking
Divisive
Abusive
Co-dependent
Baiting
Unhinged
These traits listed in a single article represent narcissistic-antisocial-psychopathic pathology that were ignored and enabled...
for 5 years.

Mental health care we were talking about Trump’s pathology well before the 2016 primaries. Where was the discussion of his aberrant behavior then?

Interviews with psychiatrists and psychologists?

Many people are dead now because of Trump’s psychopathology.
