Seen here, a fascist utilizing his Nazi filled, far right audience to harass a trans woman off their platform.
Deceitful, anti-trans scum line right wing circles, using any opportunity to attack LGBTQ people. This course of events was planned; right wing circles are garbage.
Stop giving them the benefit of the doubt - far right internet groups are calculated, malicious movements that utilize societal "norms" over politeness and debate to perpetrate violence against the marginalized.
These people are an active threat to the safety of others.
"but I'm right wing and I never do anything" you say as you share internet space with fascists, opening numerous marginalized people up to the far right.
"it was just a compliment" you say, proudly voting against trans rights and spewing transphobic anti-science
Given the intrinsically harmful nature of right wing ideas, marginalized people are more than justified in shutting them out of their life. As capitalism decays, the path to fascism becomes increasingly shorter - it is literally a safety measure for many to cut these people out.
We see passive and active fascism in all right wing people - from those too ignorant and callous to recognize how far right their circles and views are being dragged, to devious actors playing a long game to drag their enemies through the mire.
Both represent a clear danger.
In the same way that a person unwilling to get vaccinations risks the health of all around them, the right wing person failing to heed countless warnings (pleas, frankly) from the marginalized to realign their views + circles holds substantial blame for the problems seen.
Assume the person is passive; how much would you wager the conservative that gave the "compliment" derided being blocked with other right wing folk? Amongst them far right people eager to sink their teeth into a new target for hatred?
Everything and anything is a weapon today.
It is why utmost sternness and resolve against right wing views must be held. Allowing ourselves to make constant concessions for people causing life threatening damage to the marginalized is unacceptable. Social change has never come through appeasing those in the wrong.
We should be capable of recognizing that, while conversations can be useful, allowing hateful, parasitic people in our circles leads to infection. The demand for unfettered entry to those with all political views lets insidious actors abuse those whom enter their crosshairs.
"won't this upset/anger right wing ppl that aren't fascists?"
Yes, and frankly that shouldn't concern you - does the momentary, unjustified discomfort a right wing person feels outweigh the marginalized people literally killed by fascist action spreading through their circles?
The idea that there's a technique to smile away right/far right ideas rarely holds fruition, regardless of how pleasant it seems. Sometimes the inverse occurs, where the fascist deceives you with their amiability and drags the conversation right through excuses and lies.
Seeing right wing people change through your firm, unapologetic words is unlikely, but far more probable than routinely appeasing the abusive behaviour of right wing folks harming the livelihoods of others. You don't get positive change by playing the "civility" game.
There is no skeleton key for fixing a person, and sometimes it's best to move on - often it's necessary, because as previously mentioned exposing those around you (especially marginalized folk) to those who share space with the far right is dangerous.
But you must stay firm.
Right wing people hold deeply harmful ideas and while conversation + niceties can still be had, they still contribute to serious societal problems. They are in the wrong, and if you aren't letting them know that they aren't going to seriously change their ideas.
The conversation should be uncomfortable for them because their political identity is being challenged. They aren't going to change if they aren't given reason to, which isn't achieved if the person arguing with them doesn't make it clear that their views are unacceptable.
And yeah, this might strain some friendships and make for uneasy conversations. But unless you are extremely lucky, the person must be given some pressure to begin to question their right wing views.
Their comfort in conservative views isn't of concern and must be smashed.
Some people might think I sound quite harsh here, but it is simply practical analysis - if logical debate was followed 100% of the time, it would a conversation or two for everyone to be left wing.
Right wing ideas don't work like that - they aren't born of rationality.
Discomfort, disassociation, disparagement... they might lead to hostility from the right wing person, but with resolve they can sew the first seeds of doubt.
Even the hardest earth can be broken, but no farmer ever grew their crops through smiling at the dirt.
This has become a colossal thread, so to link back to the start consider Brie - a woman driven off a supposedly anti-harassment website by fascists thinly veiling their anti-trans sentiment, enabled by conservatives not being able to speak to one trans person.
Left wing marginalized folks actively at risk from the people you are trying to convince to be better have a lot more to lose here! It should be obvious that the wellbeing of someone targeted by fascists matters much more than the ego of right wing people you *might* sway left.
So be wary of endless calls for conversation and "civility". Never feel you have to debate - you come first! Be conscious of the people you're with when sharing circles with right wing people. Don't be afraid to make conservatives sweat, because their views more than warrant it.
Remember - no injustice has ever been overcome by moving right and keeping things in their ballpark!
If we're gonna change minds and end fascist harassment, we aren't doing it unless we're firmly repelling their tactics and views. Stand strong and support other lefties!

So at this point (which should really read at any point in the preceding century) it becomes necessary to take any and all forms of dissent against the Conservatives, a far right mob that will use the full force of fascism to destroy the NHS, schools, welfare, environment etc
It is the natural decay of capitalism to see fascism take form in the embers of the past - we have been on this descent for decades, not just since Brexit, but to ignore the rhetoric behind Brexit as one of many right wing weapons in the far right arsenal is naive.
As a result, it becomes imperative that every action made by every person that cares in this country makes it harder for the conservatives to keep their throttle of power. Make their ghastly administrations fault, refuse to acknowledge their laws, derail their policies completely
Capitalism, where human rights are binned off for increased profits
It's not enough that needless poverty in a world of staggering wealth exists, the fact that impoverished kids have one of the only secure parts of their life stripped from them for a capitalist's fortune is vile
The right wing political mindset is poison, literally lethal for everyone and everything on the planet, to the point that actual people had to look at the consequences of ending already poor policies designed to feed children with numerous needs, and go ahead with it anyway
I work with children. The routine of school life is often one of the only stable components of their life, for reasons ranging from chaotic households to outright abuse. Lunchtime may well be the only place they get to eat food - vital for young children - in peace.
Climate change is intrinsically linked to the capitalism - our environment is remorselessly commodified and trashed for profit, and a divorce from such methods contradicts right wing ideas and suggests that serious change is needed.
A serious, logical conversation would force such people to recognize how rancid their political views are, how toxic right wing politics have literally become for the planet.
Such introspection is often insurmountable and instead they attack the problem itself, denying it at all
Supporting a system that focuses on one's own capital above all else, exploiting every and any avenue for profit, leads to a worldview that actively dissuades a person from building empathy, sympathy, kindness and warmth. Why be nice to others when your own capital needs work?
Marginalized people that are angry at the societal bigotry, hatred and violence bestowed upon us through both individual discrimination and the wider marginalization our capitalist society crafts for us haven't done anything wrong and shouldn't be castigated for being targeted.
"maybe you should have been politer to them" asks cis person of trans person faced with the seventh threat from a fascist this week
"don't make such a fuss" says white guy to black man repeatedly called racial slurs by white guy's friends
"we should have a civil debate" says conservative preacher to woman afraid of being killed for trying to get abortion (by said conservative's fans)
"not everybody is used to you, you know" the straight person says to the gay couple after being barred from adopting
There isn't any acceptable position that stems from right wing politics. The decisions made through the lens of capitalism quite literally kill our planet by the day, while conservative social ideas create marginalization actively sabotaging the freedom of billions worldwide.
The toxic concoction of both creates a world in which bigotry is a structural tool to maximize power, where terms of freedom and violence can be redefined to suit the needs of capitalist control, where the wellbeing of us all is a footnote alongside the profit margins of a few.
Millions die yearly for and because of the right wing systems of control. Starving, homeless and ill while food, housing and medication sits unused, commodified by the wealthy at the expense of human lives. Capitalism's existence is a crisis of society - for many, a death knell.
