James Delingpole just tried to argue for a WTO/No-Deal Brexit on #BBCtw.
It doesn't go well for him... 😆😂🤣🤣🤣

(@Femi_Sorry left his mic on while recording this so turn your volume down at the end)
According to Wikipedia, James Delingpole writes for the Daily Mail, Daily Express, and The Daily Telegraph and he's the executive editor for Breitbart London.
Raise your hand if you're surprised that he's not giving great Brexit advice?
It's important to remember that Tim Martin also argued for "zero tariffs with the whole world" (even though that would destroy UK farming and manufacturing).
No Deal Brexit is utter madness.

(1) NEW: Committee for Exiting EU report on the impact of No Deal on Business. We’ve pored over it so you don’t have to. Summary below 👇👇. Worth a read @CarolineFlintMP, @SarahChampionMP… is this what your constituents voted for?
(2) Services account for 80% of total UK GDP. In a No Deal scenario, the introduction of both tariff and non-tariff barriers threatens to place additional costs of between 5-18% on existing arrangements, with small and medium-sized enterprises likely to be the hardest hit.
(3) The automotive industry employs 186,000 people in the UK and accounts for 13% of goods exports. A No Deal would add an estimated £2700 per car in tariffs alone, before accounting for the costs of disruption to highly integrated supply chains.

Hi @OnnMel, we respect different opinions, and we condemn the abuse that you’ve received for your tweet since Monday. It’s never acceptable to use that kind of language for any reason. Despite this, we have a few problems with your list...

The will of the British people cannot ‘overturn’ the will of the British people. Nobody voted for Theresa May’s deal (or “Norway+”), and it has shockingly low support in both Parliament and the country.
This is simply untrue. There are thousands of grassroot volunteers in leave-voting areas all across the country, as well as those within the campaign (@Femi_Sorry) who have spent two years travelling and listening to leave voters.

We know the EU isn't perfect. Out of our 4 co-founders: Will voted Leave and Femi has literally worked for a group called Alter-EU.
But here's why, on balance, being in the EU is better for you.
You need stuff to be as cheap as possible. Well for the UK as a country, the rest of Europe is our local supermarket. It's cheaper and faster for us to get stuff from there. Being in the EU makes it even cheaper and even faster. So your prices stay low.
You have the right to live in any country you like across the EU. So if there aren't jobs in the UK, you can go work in a hotel in France or an office in Austria. No elitist visa system. As long as you find a job in 3months and register, 31 countries are yours to choose from.

Where did the "Good" pro-Brexit information come from?
(Thread)

The man who doesn't believe in experts and exaggerated the effect of the EU on his dad's business for political gain?

The Official @Vote_Leave?
Their Campaign Leader, @DanielJHannan, promised we'd be staying in the Single Market.

The politicians and political commentators that YOU trust, have told you that all the bad news you hear about Brexit is just #ProjectFear.
Just imagine for a second that when Brexit actually happens, you find out they were wrong. How will history look at you? How will your kids?
Most people on both sides weren't experts in EU law.
Did you get your information directly from EU Treaties and resulting legislation, or did you trust the articles and opinions of others?
Remainers and Leavers just trusted different sources.
However, Brexit voters, if it actually happens and we start to see the full economic and international effects of Brexit, you're going to have to explain, especially to your kids, why you ignored the warnings from actual experts in the field before voting. independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…

Dear Brexiters,
The young people of the United Kingdom have a few words to say about Brexit Britain.
Starting with @Femi_Sorry.
#OFOC
Charlie from Doncaster is one of the 73% of 18-24 year-olds who voted to Remain in the EU.
She represents the adult demographic of the UK that would be most affected by Brexit.
#OFOC @turtle_in_a_fez
The 'Young' includes Brits in their 40s, 52% of whom voted for their country to remain in the EU. These are people who will have to raise their children in a version of the UK that they voted to avoid.
